Understanding the Digital Sovereign Strategy Board

The Native Nations Digital Sovereign Strategy Board serves as a face-to-face facilitation and roadmap to discuss the many important subject areas that may be encountered in the pursuit of Native Nations Digital Sovereignty. The strategy board is designed as a table game to serve as a set of exercises to elicit Goals and opportunities, challenges and improvements, and risks and mitigations. As progress is made, eventually new Goals and Opportunities are reached and the cycle continues as continuum or continuous evolving locally relevant solutions.

Each strategic planning exercise will be conducted to clarify local priorities, concerns, and perspectives with regard to chosen subject areas toward locally relevant solutions. We start by honoring the hopes of those who came before. Threat and vulnerability are immediate when crossing the digital Divide. There are many advantages that come with digital equity. But one must look to both the advantages and the risks to successfully navigate the technological wilderness.
